So I have been out of commision for the past few days. Had emergency surgery to remove my appendix last Tuesday just before the holidays! YAY!! It was an experience that went quick and slow. Night before was "off" and went to bed and spent the rest of the night up and down and sick and nauseaous (SP?) Called ask a Nurse in the AM and she said head to ER so we went at 8am hubby had to eat otherwise it would not be good! Checked in private room no less and after hours of diagonistics it was confirmed and at 6pm under the knife and home by 10pm! I was taken so well cared of and felt it was just before the covid was ramping up in the area and finally starting to feel better. The antibiotics were making me sick but only 3 days of it and now past that thank god!!! Gained 8 lbs in 24hours and freaked me out but family in the buisness say that is normal and should dissapate and it is slowly but did not want to see that number after not eating for 2 days. Managed Thanksgiving very well and starting to feel normal. One less thing in my body to deal with so I am greatful it is gone baby gone!
