Looks lovely! I just can’t cook kale - it’s always hard and tough and pushed to the side of the plate!! 

Thank you 😊 ahh I love kale but this way is my favourite at the moment, in a pan with red onions and a splash of balsamic vinegar to remove the bitterness 😋  

Are those Oyster mushrooms?

Your probably right Gilly, I use 5 different types of mushrooms in a dish I make with braised beef and Maderia Oyster, Shiitake, porcini, Chestnut & dark-gilled mushrooms tastes nice but it’s a treat dish.  

My local specialist food shop has a fantastic selection of mushrooms at the moment Paul. It's mushroom season isn't it? My fave has to be morels but you can only get those in the spring. I love a good old mushroom stroganoff. Must get my fat ass into cooking again. Been so lazy recently x

Oops sorry I missed this last night! Paul they’re labelled girolles but that’s the same as chanterelles I think 😊 Gilly’s right. That stew sounds amazing (minus the beef 😉.) I really like hen-of-the-woods at the moment too, or king oyster as a meaty substitute 😋  

Ooh morels! I’ve not had any this year sadly. Gilly that’s a really great shop to have nearby. Are any locally foraged?
