SK, this looks so good and that wine sounds fabulous. I love carrots cooked that way, yum! 😍 I was too exhausted to cook for myself last night, so I had tuna fish on toast for dinner. But I’ve got two proteins defrosting now and will definitely step up my game with tonight’s/tomorrow’s dinner. Just curious - what would SK do with a package of ground turkey? I have lots of veggies and grains at my disposal too.. Just lacking inspiration and motivation to think about a proper meal at the moment. 

Can you share that wine? Asking for a friend. About 300 million of them. 

Ground turkey NN? Freeze it and use it as an ice pack 🤣 Maybe sautee some veggie, puree them and make meatloaf but I've truly never bought ground turkey. Not cooking turkey for Thanksgiving either. 😮

Lol, SK.. what have you got against turkey? Just think of it as one extremely large pheasant. 😬 So no turkey at all, not even for Thanksgiving? What is typically served? I may have to cancel my holiday reservation. 

That looks so good, sk! I always love your meals. I'm very sure you could make tasteless ground turkey lovely! 😁 We have it all the time and... Soon my chest freezer will be loaded with as many turkey bodies as will fit. Cheapest meat... Good stuff, but I sure get tired of it! 😁  

Turkey has no taste so I prefer chicken, cornish game hens, duck so much more so we'll do that. Think we'll have duck this year. We also don't cook hams at Christmas or Easter. 😱

Yes. But other birds taste better IMO so we eat what we like pure & simple. If you like turkey that's great, but why eat it cause everyone thinks you should? I eat it if it's served but the diversity of sides are what Thanksgiving is all about for us. 🦃

Melissa, I know! 😜 Any time I’ll find myself inside a bag of tortilla chips, I’ll go back to that visual of being a nervous rat. 😂 Or maybe a nervous possum because they freak me out so much.
