I'm in Parma, Idaho at a very nice Fish & Game campground on the edge of a huge onion field. There's lots of room for my walks out here. Today I walked all the way to Oregon and back.

Photo Description:

1) This is the humongous onion field next to the campground. How many onions do you suppose are in this picture?

2) It was nice to see a little blue in the sky today instead of the haze we've been seeing from the smoke. This is the Snake River which is just down the street from our campsite. I took the picture while standing in Idaho, but everything you see in the picture is in Oregon. So, it's true that I walked all the way to Oregon and back. 😊 The state line is a few yards into the river. This is my first official Oregon photo.

3) I met an praying mantis on my walk this afternoon. This is a European mantis (Mantis religiosa).
