Good morning! Here is a little bit of cheery color from my garden this week! Yesterday I was lifting (my living room and garden are serving as my "gym" at the moment) and I began to feel quite nauseous toward the end and downright horrible. I thought working out inside would be ok, but the air quality is so bad from the fires. Even inside my eyes are stinging and throat sore. I feel so terrible for those of you who are living in areas which are burning. I am so very sorry.

Melissa, I'm sorry its been so rough for your daughter. It's hard to watch and feel there's a limit to what you can do for her. At least you are there for her. Sometimes that's the most powerful thing we can do is to just be there. Hopefully you will get some answers soon and the docs can help her in the best way possible. You guys are in my prayers.

So sorry to hear about your daughter- Feels silly to not write her name. I know I owe you an email! So busy with work. Just got home and now I'm sleepy. I didn't know she was collapsing. :( That is terrible. I will continue to pray! I'll write soon!💕

Thank you all for your kind words about my flowers! I love to grow them so much, and having others appreciate them helps the work have meaning beyond my own enjoyment. Thank you also for your care and kind words about my girl. I wish I had cheery news... I wish I could say she is all recovered and doing beautifully. God, I hope one day to say those words. Lovely roses! I'm in a similar boat. (portland) I was too lightheaded to do yoga or row today. They also say not to cook or exert yourself. Ha. Tell that to my toddlers. I'm looking forward to the weekend hopefully it will clear a bit.

Melissa, am continuing to pray for you and family especially your daughter. It must be so frightening to have her pass out. And of course it is hard for her. At her age the only worries should be school and boys. Know that all of us are praying.

I smiled when I saw this post because on my way home, at the corner that turns into our cul-desac, there is an amazing rise bush, I mean it has to have hundreds of blooms. I will get a picture tonight, it’s unbelievable. Thanks for your lovely photos!

I feel so endlessly blessed to be part of this community. The support on every level is uplifting and makes facing the challenges of life a little bit easier. I post my flowers because they give me joy, and I am so thankful they can be enjoyed a little bit by others too. We are not on an easy journey... All of us are working to have good health, and there are a million obstacles that can stand in our way. Having friends cheering us on makes for a better time for sure! Thank you for being here!
