I'm so sorry to hear this, I can only imagine how hard this is for you, im sending you a great big hug 🤗 and some positive healing thoughts ♥️ 

I'm so sorry to hear this. big hugs from me too. my mums partner had a stroke and it took a while for his brain, but he made it back to us. the brain is a remarkable thing so many positive thoughts to you and your mum x 

I’m so sorry, I can’t imagine how hard that must be. I’m just glad that you aren’t alone. Lots of hugs to you and your family x 

I am so sorry about your mum. I sadly found strokes made my mum totally change from who she was. She had 2, and sadly passed at just 62. I pray you find peace with your mum.

Poor Mum! It is important to look after yourself too. My Dad passed due to dementia in 2011. There were some tough times for sure. 

so sorry to hear about your mum, it's devastating. Take comfort in the fact she's talking about her mum ❤ Dementia has to be the cruellest of all illnesses. sending you hugs. ps. sod the diet, there's much bigger things to worry about x

Hi DM. Oh how I feel for you - going through similar times with 93 yr old Dad who has dementia and the rest of the family only just starting to accept this even though I read the signs two years ago. He mostly doesn't recognise me and when he does he pushes me away and gets abusive. He's done the same with one of my brothers and says everyone is conspiring against him. It is SO hard to see a loved one in such a state and no matter what any of us says, it wont take away the pain you feel. Just know that the person you know and love IS in there but just not strong enough to come to the fore most of the time. Try not to take any of it too personally as YOU know she doesn't and would not mean it. Hold firm to the happiest memories you can find and think of her in her hey-day with smiles and joy. As long as she is being cared for, that's all you can do. Huggz, prayers, thoughts and anything else which can help are being sent for you mate, just look at all the support you have received on here already.
