It’s 5am here getting ready for a walk. short walk this morning maybe a mile or two got my mask on little Lani on leash here we go. You have a great day, Have a good visit with your mom this morning.... 

Was woken at 5am with a magpie trying to get in the bedroom window and the dog going nuts! Lovely start to the day as the sunshine was bright at that time, but I could have done with another hour or two of slumber.... Surfaced and slowly had some tea before 90 minutes walking through the fields where I met up with a friend with her bulldog. Back and made breakfast for us all.... Ooops - well it is Sunday and I will be having salmon salad later so will restrict myself a bit on that. Hope everyone is happy and well - even those with acid tongues - and enjoying the better weather - more promised for next weekend I see.. Yey maybe Summer is not over yet. Plenty of chance to get out walking and burn off some more cals. Invested in a dog tracker as Mr R went off the other day and didnt return for over 20 minutes. Should also allow me to keep an eye on hubby when he takes the dog out lol

Chris I’ve said it before and I’m going to say it again your a poet everything I read from you looks like it needs to be published. 

*blush* thanks Paul. I would love to write for a living but not sure I have the dedication to stick with it - perhaps when I 'retire' I may get more time to dabble and see what happens. I have always loved to read and am addicted to audio books as I can listen to them when relaxing, cooking, walking the dog, driving but when I get a chance, the written word always grabs me. A shame that hubby has never read for pleasure, only for study and cannot understand how I can lose myself in books. Its funny that when I was at school I hated Eng Lit and could never get to grips with the classics.... My sister is the one who writes wonderfully. She was, naturally, an English teacher and specialised in English as Second Language. She once said she was gripped by language when the family moved from near Liverpool to Dorset in the 60's and people were fascinated by her (near) scouse accent at the time the Beatles were at the top of their fame. She spent two years teaching in Jamaica in the 70's and sent us amazing accounts of her life there. If I am ever published I will dedicate it to those I have known on FS !
