Today is a brand new day!

I was a baaaaaaaaaaaad girl this weekend. Soda, popcorn, candy (can ya tell where I was?), coffees, Arby's (even though I only ate half of the sandwich, it's still not some place I should have been)... You name it, I probably ate it.

Which is why today is a brand new day. I'm lacing up my sneakers as I write this. I'm going to start eating clean again. Like how bodybuilders do. Except, in the end, I probably won't look all veiny and muscular like them. That's not the image I want to go for.

Instead I am opting for healthy. Nothing that comes out of a box, can, or bag. There are some exceptions to this. Turbinado comes in a box, beans come in a can, and spelt flour comes in a bag, just to give you an idea.

No more deprivation. If I want cake, I'll figure out how to make it without wheat. If I want potato chips, I'll eat a baked potato or make my own. If I want a candy bar, I'll have some fruit!

I know what I can do and how to do it. I just need to find some way to hold myself accountable for what I shove in my mouth.

I need to eat more. I haven't hit my daily calorie goal once. I'm going to start eating every couple of hours. I've seen people munching on some fruit or nuts during or after their workout. They are incredibly built with great bodies. You can't help but feel envious and admiration for them all at once.

Yep, that's me. I'm going to be one of those people. Just watch...
