trick or treat tonight and I managed to stay away from all the kids candy except for whoppers! those are my favorite and actually not too bad as far as candy is ranked. I stood outside on the porch in my cow suit handing out hot chocolate and marshmallows and everyone kept saying "I remember this house from last year!" all the kids love the hot drink and I got a lot of thanks from the parents. I went through 2 gallons of milk and over 100 snacks. more and more kids every year! At least we didn't have any driving up in cars and taking all the bowls that people leave out on their porches! I hate that. It ruins it for all the little one.
My kids had some good ideas for costumes. my daughter was a "hockey mom for Sarah Palin" and my son was "Joe the Plumber!" funny. we even ran into MCain and Obama walking around the neighborhood! we got some boos and some Yahhs! it was a fun evening!
