So nicely captured, Lonnie! Hope you guys had a wonderful Independence Day!! 💖🥰 

We had a fantastic 4th, thank you! All the professional firework displays were cancelled here, but the local Idahoans made up for that by buying out all the firework stands in the area. Here they must not have the same laws as other places I've been restricting what fireworks are allowed, because these people had professional grade explosives! I mean BIG, LOUD fireworks! Fireworks were exploding everywhere around us, far and near. Lots of them! These people were obviously amateurs though, because some fireworks didn't even make it into the sky before exploding. Sparks were flying everywhere, in the air and on the ground. A nearby tree caught fire for a minute. It got a little scary, but was exciting and fun at the same time. I'll never forget it!  

Beautiful!!!! And your description makes me laugh so much! I remember our first year in Idaho I was 11 years old. We went to a "professional" display in a little nearby town. The locals took over the field with their own and it was beyond chaos! I still remember feeling like we weren't going to make it out of there without being singed! You got some good and lasting memories!!!!!  

LMAO, Lonnie! I'm not a huge fan of fireworks for that reason. Hate sparklers too. 😬
