Today, I tried a Zumba class at the gym. It was INTENSE...totally kicked my butt! My nerves got the best of me a couple of times, and I ended up in the back corner, embarrassed that I couldn't follow the moves. I found a basics video on youtube, and am going to learn the steps before I return to class. The music is great, the energy is unlike any group class I've ever seen, and it teaches you real steps...very cool!

That is awesome...keep up with the Zumba, it gets so much easier. Our rules at our zumba class is "leave your shame at the door", "if you don't know the moves, then just shake your butt", "don't pass out", and "just have fun". I am addicted to Zumba now, but my first few weeks was so frustrating since I couldn't get the moves. Just stay with it. It will click, I promise (this coming from a girl who had no rythm and couldn't dance before Zumba LOL). Good luck with your journey!!

Thanks for the encouragement! I am definitely going to keep it up, I love to dance, just never tried the latin stuff before. It is so fun, and I can hardly wait until I can do the steps. It's nice to know that I will get it eventually get it.
