All these pictures were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S10 cellphone, Melissa. I have three other cameras that I use sometimes, but my cellphone is the easiest, least bulky camera I have, so I tend to use it the most. I agree, it does a pretty good job.

That critter is a snakefly (Agulla adnixa), aintgotaname! It landed on my knee while I was sitting outside. I didn't know if it was going to sting me or bite me, but it didn't act aggressively and it looked so freaking cool, that I left it on my knee just long enough to get that picture before I chased it away. Later I learned that they don't sting or bite, and that they're actually beneficial in a garden, because their larva eat grub worms that destroy plants. Cool, huh? Great question! Thanks for asking! 

Perhaps you were talking about the butterfly, aintgotaname. If so, that's a Melissa blue (Plebejus melissa) butterfly. It was enjoying those cover flowers so much that it didn't even notice me, so I was able to get real close and took several pictures. 

Thanks for answering my question as to what camera you used to capture these amazing images. You have some pretty great scenery to work with! I miss traveling in our RV.

Such tranquility! I should get a tiny camper to go with my tiny car and take to the roads. Not too sure I'd feel safe traveling alone in this day and age though. Thank you for sharing. 💛
