Well, I finally figured something out, with the help of my son in law. I am nearsighted and have cataracts and even though I wear glasses my vision still isn't very great. So, I didn't used to have a scale. Knew I was overweight, didn't want a daily reminder of how much. I decided to REALLY work at losing weight, I have chronic back and neck pain and it's getting worse. I went to Walmart and bought a scale. Truthfully, I really can't read the dial (it's a cheap, old fashioned scale), I just guesstimate. My initial weigh in for FS and my first weigh, my daughter read the scale for me. The next weight, where I thought I'd gained some back, I read the scale. But what I didn't notice at the time wad that my scale only has numbers every 20 pounds. So what I read as 196 was actually 191. And then today's weight my daughter read the scale was indeed 185. So it really was a 6 pound loss, not a 10 pound loss since last weigh in. Although I have lost 15 total pounds!! And, until my eyesight is better, I'm going to let my daughter read the scale lol.
