I log my food before. it allows me to plan my meals and to master better my intake

In the morning I log my potential day. I don't always end up eating what I originally logged, but it gives me an idea of how I'm going to spend my calories.

This was an incredible way to learn further. Thank you all for sharing what you do. Wow this was very eye opening. Definitely logging before every mealworks well for me. It’s admirable, to See some of you logging before a day, and some being able to log your entire day. For those of you who served our country, in any way. Thank you 🙏. Girl, I'm just trying to map out way less calories. 😆 I generally eat the same things...it's the extras that do me in. My plan is to tell myself if I haven't put chips, cookies, (or even worse yet) my beloved peanut butter on my log , then I can't have any. I've never done this before. I'll keep you posted. 🤷🏻♀️😆

I log in every morning what my plan is and adjust it to make sure the calories are where I want them to be. Then on the following morning I adjust what I ate to match reality. That is usually when I find that the quick snack at night has added significant calories!

I do the same thing .. I’m intermittent fasting so trying to stay under 600 .. logging in before I eat helps me a lot

I meal prep. So I “log” all my meals to be 500 calories. I find this the easiest to stay on track.

I food prep for the week so I do the same and pre-log my day. I dont change much in variety either. Yes, and it does help me keep myself from going off track. Besides, the meals can always be changed as the day goes but the intention helps me.

If I know approximately the calorie content of what I'm eating I will log afterwards....for example breakfast. Usually I log as I'm preparing my snack or meal. That way I can tweak my serving size or ingredients to fit in my total calories.

eat less drink more water or if u eat something unhealthy then u can add veggies..
