Me too! LOL. 5:30 a.m. googling how does asparagus grow. hahaha. twinning.  

I have never seen asparagus grow! 🧐 

This is a great way to educate us! 😄 

Grows by the side of the road in places in eastern Washington. 

Clumps you can cut with scissors. 

For real? That's crazy!  

I would love to be able to have fresh asparagus. Not sure from the side of the road though. Like DP said, crazy 

OK - that is really funny. We used to pick it by the rail road tracks when I was a kid...thanks for posting.  

Not all roads are busy out in the wilds where there's an hour or more between towns. Totally safe.  

Then I would totally do chop those off.  

I too would pick it along rail tracks and the side of the road. I have about 4-5 stalks that come up in my back yard yearly. Wish more would come up.  

In Idaho it grew up in the wire fences as weeds in great clumps. My wife and I would stop and cut the whole bunch to the ground, then water it and come back 3 or 4 days later and it would be 4 or 5 inches tall to harvest.  

Never thought I'd google 'images of asparagus growing'. I was wrong.
