So this week I've been weighing myself every other day just to see how I'm doing and if I'm losing. Unfortunately I don't think I am going to have a loss this week because I keep weighing in the same weight or maybe half a pound less. I really need to look back into my diet calendar because I don't understand why. I've been keeping my carb count very low. Could it be the introduction to the Atkins products? Could it be because my calorie count and carb counts are too low? maybe I'm having too much salt in my diet or need to drink more water? If anyone has any idea feel free to give me advice on what I am doing wrong or what I can do to keep the weight loss going. The past two weeks I've been consistently losing around 4 lbs a week. I hope I can figure out what it is so I can fix it and keep the weight loss going.....

Well, today for breakfast I ate two hard boiled eggs, two medium stalks of celery cut with 1 tbsp of cream cheese inside, diet iced tea and an Atkins Shake. For lunch I ate 6 hot and spicy chicken wings with baby spinach, 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar and 2 tbsp of bleu cheese dressing along with 4 cups of water. For dinner I ate chicken breast with bacon and cheddar and a pickle with a cup of Sierra Mist Free. For snack I had another Atkins shake. This would be more like my typical meal but this past week I have had no appetite so my calorie count has been low and my carb count has been very low also I've been having an Atkins product instead of a meal. I don't know what could be going wrong. Hopefully you guys can help me figure it out. Maybe it's just a plateau and I need to start incorporating a consistent exercise routine. Shoot, it could be all of those reasons....Hope the funk ends soon!

I think 1-2 lbs a week is considered a healthy rate, I know I always lose a lot when I first start out. I don't know what is considered a healthy loss of weight on Atkins but maybe you are setting your expectations too high?

Do you like doing the Atkins diet? I feel like it would make me feel weighed down at the end of the day. But I've only tried it once, years ago, for only a couple of days.

I would be fine with 1-2 lbs and I've been on Atkins for a little while now (not just starting). But this week seems like I'm either staying the same or gaining a pound (just checked the scale this morning). And yes I do enjoy Atkins, I don't want to switch to another diet. It has been working for me so far. Guess I will have to take a look at my food intake from last week compared to this week. I'l probably find my answers there....Any one else have any advice or ideas as to why this is happening let me know, thanks!

If you lost a little then it is something. You aren't going to lose at the rate you started off with. At least most people don't. Atkins products do cause stalls in a lot of people. Maybe just limit to one a day or every other day. They are still processed foods and convenience foods. In response to catglaw, I feel lighter after a big meal on this diet than if I was eating carbs. Two days aren't really giving a diet a chance, especially since it takes 3-5 days to get into ketosis...but I digress. Dulce, the best way to see is to eliminate the Atkins products for a week and see if it helps. If it does, just keep them for emergencies, they won't make you gain so they are better than if you splurged on something else. Then again, it could just be a stall. You have lost a LOT of weight in a short amount of time. Give your body a little time to catch up. :)

Thanks Sara! Appreciate the feedback...I am def going to try to ease up on so many Atkins products and also start exercising everyday....
