End of the month already, and have lost around 5-6 pounds overall for March, which is good I suppose although I was secretly hoping for around 7 or 8 pounds.
Given it is the end of the month and I have lost weight, I have decided to treat myself by buying a couple of cans of San Miguel lager, and a Chunky Kit Kat (both of which I will probably consume later today)
No doubt I will feel incredibly guilty afterwards, but without the odd treat life would be incredibly dull (even more so given the current lockdown)

Hey, I have only just joined but managed to find my way onto your profile earlier today - I read through quite a few of your journal entries and I found them so absolutely motivating! Thanks for the nice comments, and for taking timeout for reading some of my journal ramblings that have covered the last 6 years here. I think on this occasion I finally have a committed course of action in terms of decent weight loss compared to the last few years where I've lost a few pounds at the start of a year, and put it back on again come the end.
But since January of this year Ive been far more focused, even though I am still using a diet of calorie-counting. And to lose 20+ pounds in 3 months is the real incentive to keep even more focused.
The old adage is true though: it is hard to lose weight, but easy to put it back on again. And that's something to remember when you reach your target goal - staying there!
Good luck with your diet. It will be hard but it will be worth it I assure you.
