Awesome! Looks great!! I just did my first container garden last summer. Super fun. 

You did a very good job! Are you only planting onions?

It has been fun so far Jengefit! Just doing my research on it and getting it done! Babyface, my fiance is going to plant is planting a little bit of spinach and garden beans also. Chris, that's a great idea! Sharon, I moved pretty fast with that wheel barrow! Kenna, little Jaime helped gather tools! Tim, after researching what Chris said, I think your right about that! Will do that tommorow. Can't I use horse manure or is that a bad idea? We have horses here.

Work is grinding to a halt with this pandemic so why not, right? 

Horse manure is perfect. I grew up with a large garden almost 4 acres. We would get horse and cow manure for it every year.  

toss some potatoes in there. super easy to grow in most places.

It's a beautiful and relaxing thing to do. Plus you get much better food in the end. 

Lots of work for sure, but you have it looking great!! Eating healthy foods from your own garden, way to go 

I miss my grandmother's gardens, so much delicious food! Looks like you're off to a good start. Little Jaime will love growing things, make sure he has his very own plot. 

Oh that is awesome!!! I wish I could set up planters in my yard like we used to years ago living in Germany. We grew just about everything you can imagine and what ever we could not eat we caned, preserved and stored for the winter. Since my yard is not suitable for gardening I use small planters on my porch for a little lettuce, a few tomato stalks, peppers etc  

Horse manure especially aged is good. Watch out for the weeds as the manure can be full of weed seed from the horse's grazing.
