so I got my self a digital scale and a fitness tracker, I told myself no more excuses.

I hung on the fridge a pair of shorts I have never been able to fit into with the words no more excuses written all around it.

Today I managed over 12'000 steps according to my new fitness watch.

Yet today was a bad day, my husband works overseas and we talk everyday a few hours a day (it keeps me sane hearing his voice and seeing his face) but today I had no electricity and the moment he got to his hotel room my wifi power bank failed, we couldn't video chat, the moment I had been waiting for the entire day was ripped away from me. I turned to liquor to ease the frustration and sadness I was over whelmed by. Tears rolling down my face I gulped down 2 double whiskys and diet coke and I didn't stop there oh no. I had been sitting with out power for over 7 hours already and the only thing I wanted, the only thing I craved, was to hear how his day went.

even after the horrible day I had, I managed to stay under 1450 calories. so as I go to bed anger, tired and drunk I still maintained my goal which I am grateful for.

we will all have bad days its what we do with the next day that counts.
