It’s sad but at 39 years old I went to my first dinner with the girls! No hubby, no kids. I’ve had a lunch or two with a friend but no evening meal. I went with my new moms group. Lovely ladies!

Ordered the steak while everyone else was having salads and burgers. Caught several eyeing my steak. Why can’t we just be ourselves and order what we want rather than thinking we need to order a salad? One even made comments tot he effect that she wished she could order something else. She was way skinny! Couldn’t tell muscle tone in her clothing though. We discussed diet and exercise and she said lifting wasn’t her thing but she’s thinking of getting a membership at my gym. If she does I’m hoping to covert her ;).

I’m like that too. I never get out with my friends. Girlfriend needs to get her a big juicy steak 😂😋😋 It’s a staple here and I lose weight and don’t lift yet. Show her the light peeper Jen🙌💪💜💚😂

Steak is a staple here in Oklahoma too. This place is known for their burgers and steaks so it was odd seeing 4 order a salad and one salmon. I ordered the steak, 2 ordered a burger and I couldn’t see the last plate. I’d love to eat there more often but it’s $25/ steak mostly and 21 and over. We don’t get out to eat without the kids much. I feel bad going without them lol. Going with my mom and stepdad was the highlight of my week when we went weekly when I was a teenager. I’d like them to have fond memories like that.

I’m the same Adam. But I’m a wonderer and wondered why so many were picking at salads and half a burger. Kind of felt glutinous around the ladies lol. Enjoyed each bite and didn’t use portion control to halve my steak like I usually do.

Girls night out! I need one. Where did you go to eat? I've eaten at a couple of steakhouses in OKC that were delish. Always on the lookout for more.

This was Callahan’s in Enid. It’s about half an hour from me. We rarely get to OKC but Cattleman’s is my favorite steakhouse there. Trappers is nice too. I’ve had their alligator! Try logging that lol.

That is a nice memory 🥰 now that my lil isn’t so lil and he talks and is more behaved, I’m hoping we can dine out as a family. We were able to go to Jerry’s Seafood last year and he did really well, he just picked at fries and had his drink but we used to not be able to go out to dinner with him. The summer before we tried and he was too overwhelmed ( Autism) he is still picky, but has come a long way👦🏻🥰.
