I'm really starting to lose hope. My weight is NOT BUDGING! I'm becoming really impatient. I've been stuck at the exact same weight for 2 months now. I tried going off for a week and restarting. nothing. I even added in weight training. nothing.

I kept myself thinking positive for a while, but i am getting really frustrated. I NEED to see a drop, just to reassure my head that what i'm doing is working.

GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

I had a loooooooong drive in to work this morning, there was a fatality accident on the freeway, so it shut down. I was able to hop on the HOV tho, thank goodness. That wasnt much better tho, becuase everyone had to stop and check out the dead body on the freeway... yup, i got to pass a dead body going 2 miles an hour. Cool stuff. (<--sarcasm font needed here)
According to the police report it was one of Houston's resident homeless folks, an older lady. She decided to cross a major freeway at 6AM, didnt end so well... RIP old homeless lady.

PS. the body WAS covered with a sheet, but the brain skid marks leading up to the body were not covered...

Oh, but I feel your pain! I'm going thru the SAME THANG! I thought I could be at 179lb by now but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm still working out, I'm still trying to "portion control", but no results at least that reflects on the scale? So, what's up?

Don't loose hope, in the past I held steady at one weight for 5 months and then BAM I lost a ton. Try switching up your exercise - if you work out 5 times a week take it down to 4, try varying the exercises. Take your measurements. I noticed on your food diary that it has the astrix on all the days, I'm not sure if you do this or not but log EVERYTHING that goes in your mouth you might be suprised.

Man what a day.. dont give up.. giving up will certainly not help you lose weight. It is good to let out your bad feelings.. SO I am glad you vented.. now back to the grind. Write it all down.. every bite.. see what happens.. and maybe when you were on the scale you retaining water.. or in a high gravity zone.. I dont know.. but quitting is not an option. Keep the faith.

How much water do you drink? I know it sounds cliche but my friend, a trainer, said you really need to drink a minimum of 80. He tells his clients to aim between 80-100 ounces a day. He says it really flushes out your kidneys and liver so they work better. I can tell when I don't hit at least 60. And I always lose the most weight in weeks that I drink water. Good luck!
