Today is Sunday morning. While I am having my morning coffee, I am putting some focused effort in planning meals for the next 2 days. This program tells me to eat 2,000 calories a day, but I know that is too much for me to make any progress. I am aiming at 1,200 for now, although I might take it to 1,500 next month. I know my body will start the "fight or flight mode" and save calories because it thinks I wont go out and kill a woolly mammoth.

I have not been hungry in between meals and in fact, I want to skip eating because I am not hungry. I know that is wrong, so I force myself to eat. I'll see where this all leads me when I weigh in on Wednesday. (I promised I would only weigh in once a week.) I'm still focused and still energized. I think this calorie counter is the best I have ever used... so much nutritional information.

PS Thanks to the 3 people who wrote with encouragement. I'm still trying to learn how communications work.
