Last day of doe, buck rifle season and the last day seems to always be our best day🙌🥰😊 meat in the freezer!! Venison is a staple. Tonight will be back straps marinated in Gazebo Room with mushrooms and onions. Thankful for the bounty🤗🙌....and I told y’all I was a country gal🙌😂🦌💪 my daddy taught me how to hunt and skin and fish and de-bone and I have a hubby that keeps that tradition alive for me in Pa. Last time we butchered together I weighed 269 lbs. Today 203.9, wearing my Hacc Nursing sweat pants and my beat ass gray tall UGG boots. I can wear these boots now all the way tall and not folded down......over sweatpants 🥰 that’s an NSV for me♥️💜💚 

So actually tonight for dinner is sautéed venison heart😋 The back strap will have to wait as we just finished skinning and thoroughly cleaned off the deer. The ♥️Is delicious 😋.  

LOVE IT!!! Grew up with much of this life too, rabbits, moose, bear, caribou, fish of every kind! Better meat than the hormone stuffed trash from the grocery store imo. And besides, if people think this is awful, someone skinned and bleed out and cut your cow for ya fancy t bones too! So there! My two cents! 😉😂🤪

The “fish” section was mouth watering and medium rare 🤤  

Way more delicious then the steak hubby and I split Wednesday night.... and that porterhouse was so good.
