Hi FS friend,
Just wondering how many of you have adapted a LCHF/Keto WOE. I've been playing with it for a couple years (off and on, just couldn't seem to face giving up tortilla chips for the rest of my life!) and had great success and felt great! But just lately I have gotten into some serious research about the mechanics and history of it and have decided to make the full time, long term switch. It's not the ease of weight loss on this program that has pushed me to this decision, although that certainly helps. It's the health benefits. Holy Cow! What I am learning is blowing my mind. Anyway... if you are a KetoBeliever, please comment below. I would love to add you as a friend on FS so I can surround myself with people who are facing the same victories and struggles. This site is all about supporting each other and I thought this might be a good way to dive in deeper. Thanks!!

I think when you find the way of eating that resonates it's a really important revelation. For me, I actually realized that I was always vegan but didn't know it all these years when I was feeding my family. It really freed me and made me more engaged in cooking and eating, and gave me so much energy. My family likes "my" food, and they are still also eating the things that speak to them (My husband is Scottish and dairy is a key food for him). It was a big, good change in our dynamic for me to understand what was right for me. So, now that you know who you are, you will find what you need and things will rise up around it and obstacles will be handled. It's so great when you find your food connection. Good luck!

Keto woe is always going to be my way of eating. I Have 17+ lbs to go, to hit my goal of 60. I will continue eating this way but may add some fresh fruit from time to time. I like the food I make and eat. Never just starving every hour. I do a 80/15/5 Keto and IF 22/2 most of the time. First, this way of eating liked my body. Much more energy and desire yo get things done. Eased some of my back pains. No more stomach med for acid reflux which in had as long I can remember. I'm not sure if it was all of the processed food, grain or sweets but I always felt bloated. loved angelhair pasta wth red gravy. with Italian sausage, garlic bread but. But it just wasn't worth it after turning 50.

I believe you are correct, Cyncy2020. It's finding your ear that listens to your body's wants before they become needs.
