Crazycatchick and Melissa - my cats "know" they are not allowed on the counters (except in the master bath where their food dishes are so Bobby won't eat) but I know as soon as I leave the house they check out all the places they are not allowed! I need to vacuum every day, but manage to do it only 3 or 4 times a week and I often vacuum counter tops. 

Fritzy- cats are amazing creatures and so darn smart. My first feline came into our home about 13 years ago. I trained him not to jump on the kitchen tables or counters. 6 months after he came into our home decided he needed a girlfriend and playmate. Her first days in our home she was full of adventure and discovery. On about day 2 she was up in the kitchen table. i was in the kitchen turned around and saw him sitting on the floor looking back and forth at her and to me like " hey mom she is on the table she is in trouble" I shooed her down... went about my business in the kitchen thinking everything was ok. A couple minutes at most turned around and guess who was sitting on the table looking at me straight in the eyes. Not her but him almost like a test of what I was going to do. I went over to him and gave him a kiss on the head. I lost that battle outnumbered two to one! 

Wow- look at that balance!  

Cats are not my favorite. I put that down to "Midnight," my grandma's black cat, an ornery cuss! And I think they've passed along my history with Midnight to the entire species!

Mira, I totally get why some people aren't cat folks! 😁 Not all cats are as without flaws as mine. 😉I know crows can pass on their dislike for some people through the generations. Maybe there is a simalar transference from cat to cat! 😁 😁 😁  

Awww, I love it!! Good reminder to me as well - I've been giving into a lot of 'now' instead of 'goals'. Thank you for posting. That kitty is adorable!!

Aww - it is PERFECT timing that you posted it. Perfect. I needed to see it yesterday sooo much more than I let on. I am going to print it out & put it on my own fridge. And pantry. And entrance to the kitchen.
