Someone recently asked if I had ever been thin. I responded that I never had thought so, but I probably was when I was younger. I know that at the time this photo was taken I thought I needed to lose weight. I was in my twenties and probably weighed about 105 lbs. I am only 4'11". I remember that the dress was a size 3. Sad that I didn't enjoy it while I had that tiny waist. Ironically, I am more comfortable with myself and confident at 53 and obese than I was with that cute little young body. Now I'm working to have my physical health match my mental health. Funny memory about that dress: This was for a wedding and someone kept sending kamikazees to the bridal party, I was so drunk, I fell on the dance floor and my heel caught on the lace, ripping it. It was unfortunate because it was one of the rare bridesmaid dresses that I would have worn again!
