I am back with some bad news. I found out why the weight piled on, I was very hyperthyroid and it made me put on weight. I also had 3 FNA biopsies of my thyroid and they removed it quite fast and found follicular cancer. *sigh*.

What a year it has been, a surprise baby and then cancer. I am on about a billion different meds, feel pretty crappy, emotional and oh so tired all the time. Still working on getting my meds right, and trying to stay awake lol.

Matthew my son is awesome, so cute, talking quite a bit and learnt to walk this past month. I love him so much!

Anyone want to know anything else? At least the earthquakes have settled down (mostly).

Bless your heart..hope you get all the meds in order and can feel better soon...I have seen pics of Matthew on FB..he is a lovely child..Take care of you...:O)..Bren

OMG! You are BAAAAACCCCKKKKKKK! I saw your post on LC Daily Check In and squeeed. I'm so happy to see you as I had been wondering what happened (given the earthquakes and all). Felicitations on the birth of your son! Wow. I'm so sorry to hear about the thyroid stuff. Had a bit of it myself and had my thyroid removed at the end of November last year. Being on thyroid pills is surely giving me more energy than my body's own hormones were providing. I hope things work out for you too. *happy dancing that my buddy is back*

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! Your back!!!!!! Missed you!!! Sorry about the dang cancer. My mom had hers removed and it took a while to get that thyroid level stablized! hang in there, you are on your way to feeling better. SO happy your baby is starting to walk! What an amazing story you have to tell when he grows older!!!!! We missed you so much, and don't worry about the weight gain, I think a LOT of us had to start over and my only excuse was I ATE TOO MUCH!!! I hope you can check in regularly, look forward to you feeling better soon hopefully, or at least let us cheer you on!!!
