Saturday morning
Catching up with your journals... I will have to come back later as I need to get ready for school.
Yesterday I went to visit a place, in the country, 20 minutes drive from the little town I got my massage therapy job. It's a horse ranch, the house has already two girls leaving in and there are dogs and cats, and of course horses. The house inside is quite messy, but the washer is new, and the stove (under the grease) is new too. Two things that matter to me! It's all furnished except my room, which is good because I have a lot of stuff I don't want to get rid of.
I negociated another room in the basement to make my office, and also a corner of the shed behind the house to put my fitness equipment. There are 160 acres of woods and fields to run and walk my dog on the property. And it's cheaper than any other place I visited! So even if the house is dirty and the girls don't seem concerned lol I decided to take the room. I will keep my stuff clean and use zen attitude for the rest.
It's only for a year or so, once I finish school for good I will get my own place. I am very happy!
Food is kinda under control, now I just have to get back to working out. 3 weeks until the finals, after that all can be normal again!
Life is good, complicated and challenging but good!

Living with roomates - Something I've never done unless you count my husband and kids! Depending on the girls, it seems like it could be fun. If its not, then its only for a year. lol
I have to say - I'm so proud of you changing your life like this. Its a scary thing to do, and your doing it! Your a real inspiration Anne.

The house sounds ideal, save for the messiness but there are worse things to contend with. Maybe you could convince your roommates to give you a break on your share of the rent if you put yourself in charge of the cleaning. Life is best when we are busy and challenged. Like the saying goes, moss never grows on a rolling stone!

Anne that is awesome. I am so happy you found somewhere you can have all the things you want and are used to. Moving can be hard but it can also be wonderful and I know that great things are in store for you. I am really excited for you. Look at you girl...Be so proud of yourself. Once you made the decision it was full force ahead and every day brings you closer to where you want to be. Hugs!!! I miss you!
