Over halfway point on my Daniel fast. I started to lose focus why I am fasting. I pay more attention to what I can eat rather than using the time for prayer. I am eating healthier and losing weight but it seems I can't wait to get over the fast in 6 more days and looking forward to what I can eat. I know this is what the enemy wants and now I need more than ever to start turning to the Lord in all my decisions to stay focus and truly examine what I'm really fasting for.

Micah 3:11 Its heads give judgment for a bribe;
its priests teach for a price;
its prophets practice divination for money;
yet they lean on the Lord and say,
“Is not the Lord in the midst of us?
No disaster shall come upon us.”
