I'm alive. Got to surgery center at 12. Was out at 2. Peeing just now was NOT fun. Still bleeding, which is normal. Had a cystoscopy. Spose to rest tonight, so I just watched a couple movies with DH and going to bed now (6:44pm), instead of reading the 102 notifications I have. I'll get to them tomorrow. Have a psychiatrist appointment tomorrow at 12:30. Thanks to all who prayed. I was tensed up this morning, but couldn't take anything for it because I couldn't take a sip of water. I DIDN'T die of thirst. They said I shouldn't go "out" to eat, but should order and bring food home in case I have problem with anesthesia. So, we picked up Cracker Barrel. I only ate half of my fried shrimp, and saved my side salad for tomorrow. Which means I had 7 shrimp, green beans, and carrots. I had an Atkins Endulge Chocolate Coconut Bar for "dessert." I feel very good about my choices, as I didn't have any breakfast or dinner. Went over on my Net Carbs by only 10.23g, but my RDI for Calories was down by 1,112!!! I didn't drink any water afterward, but drank about 14oz of a 16oz Diet Coke. I figured I "deserved" at least that if I was going to splurge. I've already filled my first bottle for tomorrow morning, though. Expecting a nice drop on the scale tomorrow. I had lost just from the time I got up (6am) to the time they weighed me at the surgery center around 12:30. Again, thank you to everyone who prayed for me and to those who sent their best wishes. I was supposed to have my follow-up appointment in early August, but they moved that up to next week. I'm wondering why that was. They did say that the previous bladder sling I had inserted over 20 years ago was, though totally ineffective now, still in place and not causing any problems. If they HAD found a problem, they probably wouldn't have told me today since I was still under the effects of the anesthesia. I'm not worried about it though -- God's got my back (or my bladder, as the case may be). Night FS-land.
