Today my husband had surgery. It was planned but anxiety producing none the less. It took longer to come out of recovery than expected and I missed lunch. On the way out I really wanted a cookie. I bought it but I also grabbed a meat and cheese snack pack from the little deli on site. It was my first emotional craving in quite awhile. Luckily my habits are so solid that I didn’t even need to eat half of it. The craving surprised me but it was still a win in the way I dealt with it.
