I'm having a hard time not thinking about when to eat next. I ate breakfast (oatmeal that took me an hour to eat while working) and a cup of coffee. I was done with Breakfast at 10:00, and by noon I was starving. I want to try and eat a later lunch because I know the afternoons are difficult for me - that's when I get the hungriest. So I ate yogurt about an hour ago, and I want to eat again. I've been looking at the clock all morning to make sure it's been long enough to justify when to eat again. I'm not eating alot, but I have to get out of that mindset. Determining whether I'm really hungry or if it's just in my head is the hard part. I heard it's the 3 day hump - if I can make it today I'm on the right path.

I was gonna suggest plenty of protein, fiber, and water to help you feel full and checked your diet calendar. Wow, that's a quite the calorie deficit you've got going! Are you sure you are getting enough to eat? If I eat too little it backfires with a plateau or a binge, or usually both (rolls eyes). You are on the right path just by being here and being mindful of your choices. Yay, you!

Thanks for the comment. I'm getting used to figuring out what to eat during the day. I'm so hungry when I get home for dinner, and I'm up late so I usually eat late, so I've been eating less than 1/2 my calories up until dinner. Today I ate a richer lunch, and notice I didn't eat as many times. I'm still working it all out, so thank you for your suggestions. :-)

Yeah, I can totally relate. I have to be sure I eat enough during the day, or I fall into the hunger trap at night. I like to think that if I eat more calories earlier, then I'm using then while I'm still up and about rather than storing them overnight. I also have a problem with boredom eating. My hub is out of town a lot so I'm alone and I start thinking of eating as entertaiment instead of fuel - not the right mindset!
