Yesterday I started looking again for job offers; applied for one, even if I'm not really sure it's the right job.
Then have seen my German-Italian speaking partner. I have been so tired and shy, that I hardly said a couple of sentences in German. Anyway, she explained me a lot of things and I have been listening to her speaking German very slowly for me.
What else? Emotional eating episode yesterday night. Had a cup of ice cream...and another again. Haven't been able to stop and I have been eating way too much. I know the reason, even it was not enough to prevent it from happening.
All in all I feel better today. Determined to look and apply for new jobs. I am at my old work place, in order to finish some stuff for my ex-boss.
What else? The sun it's shiny and there's a beautiful view from the office, it's just -14°C (7°F).

I don't know what your relationship with your ex-boss is but maybe they know of somewhere you would be able to search for more job opportunities? I really wish I had the words to say to help you feel better.... *hugs*

Glad you feel better today, Lizzie. Good luck with the job search. I think it's so amazing that you speak so many different languages and fluent enough to work in other countries. I'm proud of you.

Hi Lizzie, I am sorry to hear about the job. There will be another one, I am sure. I can relate to everything you said, life can be so overwhelming... But we have to remain strong and remember we are not alone. One day at the time... Take care

Hey, thanks a lot to all of you for your support! I asked the boss of the boss for some advice about finding a job and he was very helpful. Thanks Helewis for the nice compliments! There will be another job, and now I don't feel so depressed anymore, I look at it as an opportunity to learn something new :) life can be tough, sometimes, but luckily we are all strong enough to face it, a bit more every day.
