Can I have that in a pint glass please!!

Well I spent the night in Dublins fair city visiting me oul Da who' 83 now and still goin' strong.. and as per tradition we headed to the our local pub along the coast and I wiped a tear as I only ordered ONE pint of Guinness and a sissy vodka and diet coke for the child! Oh but can ya thorw it in a pint glass please..

It was then that the Da told me the he has Never tasked coke cola, he recalled getting his first job at 14 as a boy messanger in the general post office, he laughed at the memories of playin music with his friends for extra money in the years before WW2 reminicing over the days he spent cutting turf on the bog and on it went and I sat transfixed lapping up these tales of a bygone age and the absence of the Guinness didn't really seem so bad after all...

I have to get logging my food again - like everyone else I want to see some action this week.. but just to be contrary, I'm gonna weigh in on Sunday..just to give meself an extra day or two to pray the weight off.

The other thing that I have to do is to take some serious heed of the great recipe's that you all share. For two long I have been a 'meat and two veg' man.. (and a milk and two cakes man *tsks) Now its time to sample some new tastes..

Looks right.. over at my graph, I mean does that look like a ski slope to you? NO!! looks more like a remedial staircase for a geriatric ward! ohhh just wait.....

Chuckling... your making me feel as if I'm at a ho - down... yee haa.. "grab yer partner, twirl around, eat no carbs or you'll grow round' (or words to that effect!)

Hey Daithi, at least your chart has a downward trend, instead of the flat line that my chart is fond of knowing!! Extra laps with the 'ol dawg with ya now! =D Crack that whip!

LOL, did you know I was in a square dancing contest once???? HA HA HA HA HA ... that was years ago my friend.. now I'm trying to bust a move w/ my 4 year old to some "DO ya chain hang low".

You’ve just given me an idea! I’m gonna start to “pray the weight off” as well! But it’s not a totally new idea...no, google "What Would Jesus Eat?" and you'll find the book The Jesus Diet. A lot of fish, mostly.

I have never thought of praying for the weight to go away. Gives me a whole new reason to go to church. Father OMalley is going to be just thrilled to see me...until I tell him why I'm there. Heck, I might even light a candle for this cause!!!! I'll pray for everyone!!! I gotst lots of praying in me!
