A gain like this in the past would thrown me into a tailspin. But I knew I would have a gain today and even factored that into my decision making. I’m ok with how things are going and I know to stay sane I still need to be able to enjoy things. I read something about not letting the “splurges” be staples and that is so true for me. They use to be staples and it’s how I got to where I did. I realize and accept now that it’s not how I want to live most of the time and how truly unhealthy my choices were. Feeling good about my path though this hangover certainly helps reinforce my new choices 😂
