Wow. Losing my job really sent me off the face of fatsecret didn't it. It hasn't been a great summer. Pretty sedentary and I'm back up to 175lb. *sigh*

I had my thyroid removed at the end of November and we'll see how that goes; getting acclimated to synthroid and whatnot. It is good to have the goiter gone.

I'm reading _The Perfect Health Diet_ by Paul and Shou-Ching Jaminet at the moment and resonating with their scientific look at a paleo/primal/moderate carb diet. We shall see, I'm a bit nervous about moderate carb rather than low carb. But I am really appreciating the medical things I'm learning.

Anyway, if any of my friends are still out there ---- *WAVES*
