Made it to Boston safely. The family is rallying as well as can be expected given the circumstances. My nephew was only 25 years old. He died from an eating disorder by basically starving himself. So very sad.

I am managing well with food. I brought almonds, protein powder and turkey jerky. Ate salad and some fruit. Feeling very good to stay on track.

I find it so strange that we have these eating disorders, both over-eating and under-eating? What is it that makes us damage ourselves like that?!? The story about your nephew is truly a sad one. It makes me even more happy that there are places like FatSecret to help us regain control - We just need to see more underweight people here. I know this site can help them too. You're doing great on staying on track. Keep it up - we're all there with you. Big hug.
