Today I feel so happy!!! :)
I felt like rolling myself in the snow, this morning! :)
There are still a lot of problems to be solved, but I feel happy nevertheless.
I computed my BMI, and it's between 21 and 22. Last year, at my peak weight (did not record it on fatsecret) my BMI was 25.
Today I am wearing my favorite trousers and you know what? They are slightly loose on my belly. Wow! That's great!
Pre-Christmas dinner with friends are destroying my "no-sugar" diet. I am not counting calories, I still stick to small portions. I had rice yesterday, pasta on Monday. I see it has some effects on my digestion, but it's way better than last year. I also had some handmade custard on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I think in the next 4 weeks it's going to be though on the "no-sugar" diet...
I don't see weight gain now, but there are already planned dinners and parties, with plenty of cookies...
Today it's "Nikolaus" here in Germany. Meaning I had a bunch of cookies, candy and chocolate on my desk; that's our usual present from the super kind cleaning lady for Saint Nicolas. I gave the cookies to a colleague, ate few M&M's (that reminded me how addictive they are...), put the rest of the chocolate in my bag. Will keep them home and will try to eat them as slowly as possible, hoping friends who'll come for dinner will eat them before I do.
Chocolate it's something I'll never learn to resist to... the only thing I can do is to resist buying big packages. When I do my weekly groceries shopping, sometimes I buy a chocolate bar, but I try choose one within 10-40 grams. So, it's not too bad.
Even my family doctor "allowed" me more exceptions from the diet... Yep, but I don't want the holiday season to be exceptions day every day.
Anyway, the snow is amazing.
I think I'll go for a walk on the hills around the little town tomorrow morning, hoping there's not a storm.
