"If I could save time in a bottle, the first thing that Id like to do..."

First thing I would like to do is sit down and catch up on all the things that I have let slide the last month and a half! Man, its been forever since I have been able to sit down and write anything. I have tried to keep up with everyone, but its just impossible. I have not lost anymore weight, in fact, I have gained. I have been losing and gaining the same 15-20lbs since December and its getting really really old!! Ive changed up my WOE and tried different things, but its like my body wants to be at 350lbs. I dont want to be at 350lbs though!! I am working on it. I have gone back to keto, and have lost some. Its just a struggle with how busy my life is all of a sudden.

I got my own place, hoping I would have more time to do the things that I wanted to do, and it seems that all I have time to do now is come home and make dinner before its time to get in bed and start all over.

I took tomorrow off, because I have been wanting to write. I used to write short stories all the time, and really loved it, and I havent done it in years. I decided, that since we are slow at work, I would use a vacation day and just write and do my own things. Then I got to thinking how much my car needs cleaned out and the laundry needs done...it just never ends.

On a more positive note, we got a new puppy!! I will post a picture of her tomorrow. She is such a sweet baby. She is a German shepherd/blue heeler mix and so smart!! I am so happy. She will be my running buddy. I am excited.

Ok, I promise, I will write more tomorrow!! I love and miss you all so much!!

Klynn82, I also love to "sit down and write." Your journal entry makes me think about what I *need* to do so I can do what I *want* to do, prioritizing the *musts* so I can get to those *wants*. It requires organization and, then, step-by-step execution of a plan, addressing each task in the proper order. Health is the most essential "must," because I can't do *anything* unless I'm healthy. And correct nourishment is the first "task" in attaining health: planning my way of eating, stocking the kitchen as needed, preparing a number of meals at a time, storing them properly, and eating the proper foods in the proper amounts at the proper times. Basic task No. 1 ... nourish my body ... to support Basic Need No. 1 ... maintaining my health. And on to the next...

I love my dog, too! After I got my basic needs taken care of, and got out of my bad habits, having my puppy was a dream come true!
