Okay...time for me to take back some of what I said when I was mad. OHSU called me today to let me know that my surgery had finally been approved (for the second time) and to schedule my surgery. They let me know that my surgeon was actually scheduling for July but that they had an alternative if I was willing. Which I was obviously. So I was able to schedule an earlier surgery as long as I was willing to use one of the other surgeons. I confirmed that it would still be at/with OHSU, my insurance actually requires it so that was a yes. So I actually will have my surgery in APRIL!!!! Yes you heard that right. APRIL. I am so happy right now. I still don't have any answers about my therapy but she is still working on it so that's all I can ask. I am beyond excited to know that I will be having the surgery that I have been waiting for for almost a year, in just a little over 1 month. I am ready, I've been ready for a while now. I have worked so hard to get this surgery and now...it's scheduled. I just want to thank you all again for putting up with me and my whining and let you know that you really have been instrumental in my making it here alive. I had already posted that I was back but this just put the icing on the cake (that I won't be able to eat lol). I will just have to work my behind off to make up for almost all of Feb. and almost half of Mar. but you guys have really been helpful in showing me that I have what it takes to do this.
