Hope you feel better darling, I tell you we must be getting a heck of a blessing cz the enemy is really mad at us. He just won't give up will he, but man his messing with the wrong people cz we have a Mighty Father that will not allow us to go through too much adversity 🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌 take care my Sister ❤❤💓💓💋💋🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏 

So sorry you are sick. I suspected not only your grandson was sick, but you also, it sounds miserable. I've heard all kinds of flu and virus are going around, big time. It will take some time for it to run it's course and then longer to get your strength back, be easy on yourself. I hope your husband doesn't get it, but he very well may. We all love you and sure want your best, so will be praying for you body, soul, and spirit. When we get down physically it is extra easy to get down emotionally, that's why you ate the pie. Hope you can get some rest. There is a spray at the drug store that will temporarily numb your throat; is there anyone to go get some for you. An alternative, also at the drug store, is Aloe Vera juice or gel, and gargling with it, and then swallowing it. Just take a little so you can repeat often. It is the most healing plant known to man, but if you aren't used to it, it may loosen your bowels. It is very healing internally and externally, take it to bowel tolerance. If someone will go to the drug store, get both. Thank you for your inquiry. Things are pretty calm here. Yes, my husband does throw away some things each trash day, which is hard, but a week and 1/2 ago it was just food. I go to be with my sister tomorrow, but we will be in a group so that is easier. Our daughter and husband will come for 2 nights this weekend. Did you see in my journals that my husband "gunned" our car over an island and smashed under the driver's door, bent the door, and blew a tire. I'll have to have it fixed to not rust, but he is dragging his feet. Thank you for your comment to my binge day. I was very surprised after 2 1/2 months, but so far have been able to get back on the wagon or horse. Much love to you.

Hm ... something to be said for the fact that The Enemy will attack us any way he can. I hope you feel better soon, Debbie. For a sore throat, I also recommend that throat-numbing spray, "Chloraseptic."  

Time for bone broth. We are 1/2 lb away from the next skinny bracket. Remember sugar will decrease your immune system for about an hour after consuming. Skip the exercise and pie and put your feet up. ugh. I had that a month ago and then had laryngitis the following week. So exhausting. Feel better. 

Sorry you are feeling so icky! But I know you will bounce back. Get some rest!

Don't get mad but when I read your journal I could imagine myself doing the same, ala, "If I'm gonna die I'm gonna have pie." Funny how we rationalize that when our body is weak and our defenses are down. Feel better my dear. 

Thank you, everyone (even people I've never even heard from before!) for all your kind comments. I've been gargling hot salt water. My husband got me Mucinex, Dayquil and Nyquil last night - and I have some Promethezine cough syrup. I am using all sparingly. It does kinda feel like I'm trying to swallow razor blades after a bad coughing bout - which was the way it felt last time I had strep. If I'm worse tomorrow, I'll go to the doctor - otherwise, I'll just wait it out. I'm actually kinda afraid to get well! I'm being SOOOOOO ultra productive from this Abilify while I'm sick, I don't know WHAT could happen if I was on it and WELL!!!
