I am 70 years old and I did without sweet stuff and carbs a lot of my years. I am not doing that any more, so this is slow going. Think that is why I am staying the same. I also think I need to stay right around 1300 to lose. I was lower than that this past week. Weight was never an issue until I got past 58 and sold the motel where I worked from early in the morning 5:00 or 6:00 to late at night 11:00 or 12:00. In those years I could eat what I wanted with no worry. I am not complaining. I loved it. Just stating facts. My desire is to see 150 again and stay there, and I am close so I am not discouraged.

You go girl! I just turned 70 myself in January. Sounds so ancient but I am young at heart and spirit. I have set my first goal to see the other side of 150 too. I hate structured diets so I do my own thing. For me, keeping track of carbs works. Not a Keto follower but I do strive to stay under 100 carbs a day. I gave up coffee a couple of years back and have good selection of teas to choose from. I’ve eliminated wheat and feel it was an improvement to my health. Getting my weight down should get my bp down. I’m borderline hypertensive so I hope to get off the rx. I think it’s doable. 🤗

I've upped my bike riding to 35 mins/ 9.4 miles. I am going to work up to 1 hour and see if that helps me lose. I have give up a lot of things and if I really want something sweet I'm going to have it.
