Haha I am not really a good cooker, I eat eggs, beans, tortillas, chicken breast and lettuce salad most of the time.

Are you talking about the refried beans from Mexican restaurants? I can make refried beans but they don't taste that good 😕.
Sometimes I make my refried beans with bacon grease.

Just looked up the recipe. Seems much easier than I thought. I always soak my beans overnight. Don’t have to apparently. Do you Keilin? And is that your ‘name’ or are you anonymous? Lol. My name is Pam. 😃

Keilin is my name, and well Pam I don't soak my beans , not add baking soda or anything like that, I just wash them a few minutes and they are ready to cook.

I should try making mexican, but in India all the ingredients are not processed at all, so we have to soak and then cook beans in a pressure cooker

Keilin, this looks so good.😋 We had my cousin and his wife come visit from France. He was born in El Paso and the first night we made a simple dinner of taquitos, beans de la olla, fideo and salad. He loved it, because they don't get Mexican food in France. 😊

Thank you! I call them baleadas , in Honduras people are on each corner of the street making baleadas, as people in Mexico do with the tacos. 😊🤤
