I am happy today. It feels good to wake up everyday now that I am working on me. I normally have a million things to do and none of them are about me. The husband needs, wants, or expects me to complete something for him. The house requires work, the car, the cats I could go on and on.

But for the last week I have put myself first. I have made meals that were good and right for me. I didn't neglect my husband, but I didn't put his wants before mine. I didn't allow stress to take control and eat my way through the day.

I kept my food diary up. I controlled me. If I can tell you one thing it is a requirement in making weight changes to put yourself on a pedestal in the beginning. You don't have to stay there, but every time you see yourself making unwise choices get back up there and shine. You will feel so much better. The house, husband, and other things will not collapse because you put yourself first.
