For some reason I’ve always been embarrassed for people to know that I’m trying to lose weight. Maybe it’s the fear of failure; I don’t know. Or maybe it’s because I’m “admitting” that I’m a GLUTTON and now I have to do work to take care of the problem I’ve created – all the excess weight!
I do know that I feel comfortable using this app and posting my weight and all. Even my husband of 32 years (whom I love immensely) doesn’t know what I weigh—and you all do. I really appreciate the trust and support I’m seeing between all the members. Thank you for being there. 😊🎈

It's always been so taboo to talk about... but keeping myself accountable in this little community has really helped. People here are supportive! My husband also didn't know how much I weighed... But I finally had to tell him because I accidentally programmed it into our scale lol

Thanks! And your post reminded me that I still haven’t bought a new scale. I’d like to get one that measures all the different things and shows up on your phone. I’m not exactly sure which one is a good one to get, though. Any suggestions?

I just have a cheap digital scale from Walmart... but I've heard a lot of people like the "Fitindex" scale. I've seen it on Amazon ☺
