YAY for FRIDAY!! Took long enough this week :)
Looking forward to the weekend - lots of yard work and winterizing to do and I think we're going to have a gorgeous weekend for it - if the wind ever stops blowing that is. Foodwise, I am going to avoid shopping (plenty I need to use up) and cook some things for the week ahead. Last night I stuffed some green peppers (on sale and ground beef was marked down) and put a few into the freezer for future meals and am planning to bake one off for supper tonight -- sounds warm and comforting.

We make stuffed peppers without rice. (I don't think I've ever tried it with rice.)

Mine are stuffed with ground beef, mushrooms (lots of), shallots, a little tomato puree and lots of Italian seasoning -- topped with a slice of provolone cheese. Very yummy :)

I always wish I liked peppers, but I just don't...love growing the beauties, but they give me heartburn horrible. I like to freeze meals for just in case whenever possible too! Hope you get lots done this weekend!
