OH, I should have stayed in bed .. I'm not very bright today. I ruined myself straight out of the chute!!! I had lots of trouble getting going today and i quickly mixed up some chicken salad for lunch.. grabbed a bag of broccoli sticks (complain about the smell, I don't care!) grabbed a carb control shake and on the way out the door, I hadn't done breakfast and I was well.. I need something that will stick with me awhile b/c I'm going to be busy today.. grabbed OATMEAL!! didn't think about it.. yep.. like 20 carbs right there.. first meal. sigh.. oh well. I could have ate worse I'm sure..but I'm all chomping it down and then alarm went off in my head! DAMMIT!
I'll be fine. but i was all oh no!!! sigh. figures.. I wasn't very good yesterday.. I had a traumatic experience on a back country road where a huge truck decided he was going around me.. but pulled back into the lane nearly on me.. so my options were to slam the brakes and pull right..which put me off the road and nearly in a ditch.. I was very shaken up..crying.. pissed and cussing. finally pulled my car back on the road, went on to my friends house and had a plate of food.. while it wasn't bad b/c it was grilled chicken and veggies the veggies were things such as corn on the cob, garden peas.. yeah... not at the top of my eat up these veggies list.. oh and a beer. yep. just one but I felt i needed it to calm me a little and it was a while before I went home.. I still had 2 liters of water yesterday.
Oh well. I will up my walking and burning calories and work for a better tomorrow, and rest of my day.

Hope everyone had a safe weekend and let's lose something this week.. instead of our minds like usual, let's try to make it pounds and inches!

and as I wrote this out I felt better... i'm not being a downer or whining.. well i am a little it's TOM for me and I would love to be left alone.. but that doesn't happen so I take what I'm given and I have a job.. I have 2 jobs!! I'm grateful! I have a great family and friends and I'm thankful I have all of y'all to chat with and help be supportive of everyday!

I can understand how almost being run over by a huge truck would be enough to make most people drink a beer. As for the veggies, corn isn't one of those veggies that are acceptable on induction, however at least it wasn't a full blown carb out. As for the oatmeal, I have found myself putting things into my mouth and then spitting it out because I didn't even think about what I was eating. I have made a resolution this time around to make sure that I think about every single thing I eat. So far, so good, but I also know that at any time I could find myslef with a mouth full of an unacceptable food, and not even realize I had put it there. Ahhh, the trials and tribulations of changing one's lifestyle and WOE!! lol Have a geat week, and for heaven's sake get rid of the oatmeal!

wow glad ur ok ...damned truck >.< some people just dont know how to friggin drive..at all!! as far as the "oooooops" thing..I did the same with cool whip the other day...know we can have whipped cream, but since i had gone off atkins for a bit..i didnt realize that it was the canned we could have and i bought the tub of instead..so..by the time i put it on my diet calendar , was too late..o well...we all make mistakes and "ooopsies" from time to time, but i have realized the more i beat myself up, the more i F**K up...so Im done doing that to myself...also when ya need a drink its best to drink something clear..like a vodka and diet coke..or light rum..as not as many carbs..just for future reference should u find your nerves could use a little help, lol hope u had a good holiday ttys always ehre should u need to shout!! hugs dar
