Today has been a major cheat day. One of the doctors in the department I work for treated everyone to Panera for lunch and good lord are their cookies delightful. It's been a bad few months for my stress so I've been going back and forth with food and I can feel it. Tomorrow is a new day for better choices. Tonight I'm having pizza.

And that’s ok as long as you are counting calories and are in a deficit 😏🙌🏼 cause u know u will lose weight

Have you considered adding in a daily treat? Can be something small like a 90 calorie fiber own bar. When I started I felt guilty for every hard candy, every piece of gum (was also trying to quit smoking and use candy/gum to help), every little bite my kids offered... and don’t get me started on the guilt associated with pizza! I cut over pop and that was my only treat at that time. I added in one rice crispy treat (90kcal) per night and I still felt guilty but not as restricted. Fast forward 6-7 months and I now budget for some awesome protein bars or a candy bar weekly. I have that mint or gum and don’t log. No guilt! MI have to have pizza toward the end of the week if I’m having it. That way I can cut back a meal a day and/or a bit each meal and/or all of my snacks. Then I decide if I can have 3 pieces or 4. I may have to cut back the rest of the week too. But way less guilt! I’m happier. I’m still losing weight at 1500 avg rather than 1250-1350 avg and eating foods I love. It’s something you might think on if you are interested 😉. Mental and emotional health are just as important as physical health. For me the snacks and foods I love help with the first two so that I can work on the third easier 😁.
