Had my follow up appointment with my surgeon yesterday to review the CT scans. My alien shrunk a little bit but more importantly, it appears to be pulling away from the junction of the esophagus and stomach. The lung scan shows the blood clots have resolved so then after surgery, we can remove the IVC filter. Will need to set up appointments with cardiologist for an echo, pulmonologist for lungs and venous doppler to make sure there are no clots in my legs. After all that, surgery is scheduled for January 14th. Oh yeah, still on the Gleevec until then. Phew, that a was wordy lol, so for now, I'll just keep moving on one day at a time.
