So, I ve been off my way of eating for a few days and gained 3.5-4 lbs. Yes i had some hot buttered rum and cheesrcake for my birthday and enjoyed it a lot. I did t write down all my food for several days.
Im going to get started where i left off and just keep going. Im not going to beat myself up for oct. I know nov and dec will b difficult because of the holidays. But im going to do my best.

That’s a great way of thinking! I’ve had some off weeks and I feel guilty but honestly, it doesn’t really do any harm. It can be easily lost again it’ll just take longer to the end goal. The next 2-3 months will be hard for me too! Birthdays from Oct 27, then my hubby and kids all start nov to mid January (except the youngest). LOTS of meals out, special dinners, family get togethers... But I know I’ll do better next spring. I did my best in the spring and summer so know I can do it again. Maybe you’ll be the same 😉.

Thanks peeperjj, I’m happy to report the extra weight I gained is slowly coming off. It’s so quick to gain and slow to lose. Do you count carbs?

Nope! Well this app does and I look at it but I don’t care if it’s 30g or 300g per day. I tried cutting back but didn’t feel good, always hungry and cravings lead to binging and being angry and irritable constantly. Added more back in and it’s better for me. Not losing any less either. If I’ve had a lot of refined carbs in a week then I will try to have some healthier ones to try and balance it out a bit.
